GHOSH!!! Its over finally or is there more to it…….. Exactly my thoughts echoed by an elderly lady sitting besides me while leaving my crammed seat which bore my weight for 4 long hours in a jam packed multiplex on a Sunday late night show…….. Wasn’t this sentence a bit too long and yes that’s what Jodha Akbar is all about….. A bit tooo looong……….. Jodha Akbar is too perfect a movie made by a perfect Director who would score full marks in movie direction course…….. Its so perfect that u neither feel like laughing or crying or sharing Jodha’s or Akbar’s pain cause we all knew the ending in the beginning…. Hrithik (Akbar) looks princely handsome with a good performance as an actor but one look at him and I couldn’t control myself comparing him to Russell Crowe in Gladiator……. Keep it up Hrithik may be you too will win an Oscar for fighting with an elephant gone crazy with bare hands…. Ash (Jodha) look as beautiful as ever with the constant damsel in distress look…… But we could hardly get a good look of hers as the Maillika-e-Hindustan had to be in ghunghat most of the times…….. The sets, décor, art work, camera angles and locales make you feel as if you are on the fields of Panipat…. Ashutosh as a director has grown over the years and I’ll look forward to more of his Oscar works………But Ashutosh’s research shows that Optical lenses were available even in those days (precisely around 1555) when Bausch and Lomb weren’t around to help us………… Can you imagine a black eyed eight year old Jodha and 13 year old dark eyed Akbar, both growing into light eyed beautiful handsome youth…… Overall it’s a good movie, if you have the patience and definitely not worth a repeat watch except if you are a jewellery designer and would like to have some duplicates made………. Jodha-Akbar’s love story answered an unanswered question right from Mughal-e-Azam days…………..Why Salim was born so late…….. Go, watch the movie and find out for yourself……………

What I liked about the movie:
Hrithik & Aishwarya, Sets, Costumes, Grandeur

What I didn't like about the movie:
Too long and boring... Moves at a snail's pace. No major twists and turns..

Would you recommend this movie to your friend: No
