As nowadays, the filmmakers ahve got the pulse of media and foreign investors or corporates right, Jodha Akbar is a big disappoinment.
Ashutosh Gowarikar seems to have lost the focus on the story. He must get this one thing right, NOT EVERY MOVIE ON A PERIOD TOPIC can be made.
What the hell is the filmmaker doing with the story? The story neither justifies the battle track nor the love story.
Not a single stunt is of Hollywood class. Technically, our stunt directors must go to Hollywood as interns to learn the stunt coordination. Cinematography is not the class of Lagaan.
Nitin Desai and Neeta Lulla are loudable. AR Rehman and Javed Akhtar are so so.
On the whole, all the hype it generated and damage it did to the society, Jodha Akbar is not even worth its hype. It is more like no body no soul.
