This movie really didn't work, because it has no decent plot. It was really boring and not exciting at all. the action could have been so much better. May I am biased because I had seen Jaane Tu a day before Lovestory, and Jaane Tu really entertained me, but anyway with all the hype surrounding Lovestory and Harman, both the movie and Harman failed to justify that hype.
The producers of Lovestory 2050 have relied too much in the special effects of the movie and in the dancign skills of Harman.
If you have seen movie like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and other foreign sci-fi movies, you know that the special effects in Lovestory 2050 are not that spectacular, they are just ok.
And a movie doesn't work beacuse someone can dance really good, I have to admit that Harman is a great dancer.
And as far as acting goes, I think Harman was just OK, I didn't see anything special in his acting, at some places I thought he was overacting. Priyanka did a good job, Boman Irani was passable, Archana was funny, and the kids didn't know how to act.
What I liked about the movie:
Harman and Priyanka shared a good chemistry so I wouldn't min seeing them in aniother movie (but with a better plot and execution). But in the movie self, nothing. I was pretty much bored after the first couple of minutes.
What I didn't like about the movie:
The weak plot, poor action scenes, overall average acting copying of other sci-fi movies (Artificial Intelligence, I, Robot).
