Karzzzz is a remake of Subhash Ghai's film having music of Laxmikant-Pyarelal which won them a Filmfare too. Himesh should atleast be nominated for his effort in Karzzzz. Karzzzz is a winner all the way with a small exception of Hari Om.
This opens with Lut Jaaon which I must say has a mind-blowing music in the background. Harshdeep Kaur adds a bit of weirdness, but that's how Himesh's songs are! Hari Om is a big time disappointment, with lack of beats contributing to it. But the rest make up for it.
Next comes Soniye Je Tere, sung by Himesh and Tulsi Kumar, it is a romantic number, with lesser beats but the awesome singing makes up for it. Himesh show signs of copying from some Punjabi composer in this, but I don't give a damn. This is a great romantic number.
Moving on to Tandoori Nights by Himesh and Sunidhi Chauhan. What lyrics! Tandoori Nights?? But this is a good number reminding us of Tandoori food. (Yummy Yummy)
Next comes Sisak Sisak Ke which is a solo by Himesh and sung well by him. It has a nice backgrond music showing Himesh is a versatile composer too.
Moving on to Ek Haseena Thi which is a romantic song sung by Himesh and Shreya Ghoshal, it has romantic Daastaan written all over it. Rock On Himesh! It is his story of his past birth, I'm guessing.
Dhoom Tere Ishq Ki is a very Indian, very romantic song. Himesh does another solo. With a Tabla to assist in the background compounded with superb lyrics by Sameer. Himesh is getting those romantic numbers very right with this. He proves he is a versatile singer.
Tere Bin Chain Naave is quite similar to Dhoom Tere Ishq Ki the way it runs. This time it has Tulsi Kumar assisting Himesh with the vocals. Very romantic and Himesh just about gets it right along with Tulsi. It is my 2nd favourite track of the album.
Masha Allah is by a mile the best song with Himesh singing. I cant applaud the lyrics though.
Overall Karzzzz's only dull moment comes with Hari Om, with all others having Chartbuster potential. Go for it!
