Kidnap is in news because of the main star casts (Sanjay Dutt, Manisha Lamba and Imraan Khan) and the director of the film. And the music has much expections because of the man behind the album. Its Pritam who is currently the top music director of Bollywood. Its a nice feel to listen "Mit Jaye" which gives similar feeling as the music of Sanjay Gupta films (Zinda, Musafir, Dus Kahiniyaan). Well, the music take the intention to finish the songs. Its a nice songs as the singer voices has something very nice and soulful to offer. Hay Ya is a track, featured on Manishha, who looks very sexy in promos. The lyric is just ok if the music is not like this one. The tunes are perfect at it place, is really fresh and yes, youthful music Like songs from JTJN. Well, its another rocking track from Pritam who can easily composed all kinds of music. Mausam is the best track of the album. If you like Aaja Soniye, from Dus Kahaniyaan, you will definately love this track too. Its Sheraya Ghosal, who done again after numerous track on numerous style. She's melodious and even sensational. The next track opens well like Phatte from U Me Aur Hum. Adnan Sami again, this time, its also a decent fair. The music is not so punjabi flavoured, not too indian, not too western. Its really nice to listen the rap part. Well if Bhootnike from Singh is King work, this track deserve more to be worked. Its really delight, funny and that's because of it lyric. The last track turn down all the positive reviews. Mere Ek Ada is really not a good track to be considered. The track is really below average which doesn't digest well. If this one is not in this album, Kidnap deserves more. On the whole, Kidnap is more than decent fair. The tracks like Mausam, Hay Ya, Mit Jaye will be loved by everyone and Haan Ji is for selective people! So 4 Good track with one Faltu track.
