JTYJN was way too over-hyped for Rahman's music, which is always over-hyped. JTYJN has done well mainly because of Pappu Can't Dance and Kabhi Kabhi Aditi without which this album is a sore loser. It's OK for Aamir Khan productions, but TZP was much better in terms of music.
Kabhi Kabhi Aditi has Rashid Ali behind the mike and is a pleasant song which deploys the guitar to devastating effect. Nice feeling about this one, one of Rahman's best songs.
Pappu Can't Dance is an above average one which has a party feel to it. It doesn't guarantee more than 5 repeats though.
Nazrein Milana is a rocking number and has party written all over it. It is a very youthful number but poor lyrics like"Jaane Kyoon yeh dil baja raha hein ek hath se Taali" Abey, Dil Ko Haath kahaan se aaya?? It's also a coo, track.
Kahin To is next sung again by Rashid Ali, it is a romantic, melodious and beautiful track! It comes a close 2nd to Kabhi Kabhi Aditi!
The Jaane Tu Mera Kya Hain's are dumb and Tu Bole Main Boloon even more so. Overall, it's a silly one to come out of Rahman's collection, leave this out of yours!
