Woodstock Villa is a fussy ride, to an unknown destination. One doesn't seem to get where the album is going half the time, and that's what makes it lose appeal, very quickly. As is expected of a mystery/suspense thriller soundtrack, the album features elements of intrigue and mystique, similar to the music of another Anu Malik disappointment, Aks. But, at least Aks had a point - it was arrogantly alternative.
