Flamboyant & unconventional in thoughts and action, Dr. Ram Gopal Acharya (Mithun Chakraborty) is a 'Guru' - philosopher who preaches his disciples the staunch difference between paap (Sin) & Punya (Goods Deeds). One of his life's truisms is that man should never succumb to Temptation and Sex to “Sinners” - women who seduce men for money and ultimately destroy them.

Doli (Meghna Naidu) is a bar dancer, a beauty in full bloom, dances to entertain her customer, drawing false vision of lust and arousing passion in men through her sensual body movements. Her only dreams is that some day her Prince charming, riding on a white horse would come and take her away. And then she meets Suraj (Vvikas Bhardwaj), a London bases NRI, who is in India for business. Love blossoms between the two and Suraj transforms Doli from a symbol of disgrace into a symbol of pure and noble love.

But the unfortunate reality remains uncharged.Dr. Acharya's loyalty towards his friend J.K.Malhotra (Navin Nishchol), father of Suraj, evokes the wicked side of him. He insults Doli and calls her a Prostitute, Sinner, Lady of the night, Adulteress…and blames her for tarnishing Suraj's reputation.

Nature had begun to audit Doli's account with a red pencil. Appalled at such scorn and enfeebled with grief & humiliation Doli returns to her home only to find Sitara Didi (Himani Shivpuri), the owner being victimized because of her. Sitara is put behind bars for murder and Doli is shattered.

Her fatigued mind & body finds no answer and she finally decides to take refuge in Acharya's ashram. A victorious smile cures his lips, as Acharya cannot resist the lure, the forbidden joy of passion, which he always condemned - SEX.

Doli successfully exposes Dr. Acharya's lustful intention to his disciples. Suraj rescues Doli from the evil clutches of Acharya as he tries to forcefully marry her. His heart is set on fire with the longing for Doli and his feet begin to quiver to the tune of Wild Romance, Sex & Passion performing the CLASSIC DANCE OF LOVE.
