The U.K based production house Inspired Movies come up with their first Hindi film Kaun Hai Jo Sapno Mein Aaya produced by Vibha - Ragini and directed by Rajesh Bhatt. The film brings back the lead pair Rakesh Bapat and Richa Pallod who dialed a Wrong Number last year.

The film is the story of a Punjabi family settled in the United Kingdom. Kuldeep Khanna (Kadar Khan) heads the family along with his mother - Dadi Ma. The Khanna family comprises of Kuldeep's sons, Harry and Sunny (Rakesh Bapat), his daughter, Dolly, his daughter-in-law, Pramilla, and a teenaged granddaughter, Sweety. Even though they all live under one roof, most of them have adapted themselves to the western way of life, and therefore are hardly representatives of the great Indian family tradition.

Sunny is a dreamer, whose focus in life is poetry. In this cauldron of daily existence, Mahek (Richa Pallod) makes a sudden appearance. She's come to live with them for a few days as her uncle, Dr. Verma (Anupam Kher), who is a good friend of Kuldeep, is away to America for an important conference. At her host's family Mahek is greatly disturbed by the dysfunctional attributes and tries to bring them all together.

She, however, fails to do so. In addition, in the process of trying, Mahek becomes an unwanted guest. Finally, Mahek is asked to leave under the guise of causing Dadi Ma's death due to negligence.

After Mahek's departure, the Khanna family discovers the painful secret of her life. The orphaned Indian girl has a serious heart condition and had actually come to the UK for a last ditch attempt at treatment. When the whole family comes to know the reality, they now want her back. Sunny is sent to get Mahek back to the Khanna residence. But she refuses to return, as her yearning in life is to be loved, and not pitied. Also knowing that her life could be cut short at any time, Mahek tries desperately not to fall in love with Sunny and keep's him at arm's length. But Sunny is in love with Mahek by now and is crestfallen.

What happens thereafter forms the crux of this endearing romantic family drama.

The supporting cast of the film includes Rana Jung Bahadur, Shiela Sharma, Navnit Nishan, Usha Bachani, Suraj Thapar, Vinita Malik and Manisha Jain. The cast also includes Indian stars based in the UK like Saeed Jaffrey, Zohra Sehgal, Bhartendu Vimal, Surjeet Singh Pandher and Ravi Sharma. The debuting UK cast includes Deep Gidar, Reshmee, Mini Gidar, Spencer and Derby.

Mehmood Ali has written the story-screenplay-dialogue. Nikhil-Vinay have composed music on lyrics penned by Sameer.

The film is slated for an August release.
