Sanjay Khan's son, Zayed Khan, makes his debut in Pantaloon Rave's CHURA LIYAA HAI TUMNE, directed by Sangeeth Sivan. The film co-stars Esha Deol in the female lead.

The synopsis –

Vijay (debutante Zayed Khan) meets Tina (Esha Deol) in Goa, where a romance develops between the two. One morning, Tina is urgently summoned to Bangkok, Thailand, where she is told that her uncle has been killed in an accident. Vijay follows her there and offers to help.

After the funeral, Tina is called to the Indian embassy in Bangkok and warned by Deepak Chopra (Salil Ankola), the official there, that her late uncle was wanted in India for a Rs. 10 crore gold heist from the RBI. The rest of his gang, now freed from Indian prisons, is also now in Bangkok to get the money.

Then three of her late uncle's accomplices – Om (Gulshan Grover), Sheena (Rakhi Sawant) and Chingaar (Vijay Raaz) – begin to harass her. Tina looks to Vijay for help. At this point, Tina discovers that Vijay is not what he seems and on confrontation, he confesses that his name actually is Prakash Yogi and that he is the brother of a fourth accomplice of her uncle's in the gold theft.

Tina is now caught in a ring of suspense as she is followed by the shadowy trio, all after the money, believing that Tina holds the key to the fortune, although she really knows next to nothing of the heist.

Apparently, Vijay / Yogi is the only person she can trust until Chopra tells her that while there was a fourth accomplice of her uncle's – he didn't have a brother. Vijay / Yogi now reveals that he is in fact a crook and that he too was after the money, but now is really in love with her and is by her side only to protect her from her uncle's accomplices.

Tina doesn't know where to turn to as two of the shadowy trio, Chingaar and Sheena, show up dead and the mystery deepens with Vijay and Om being the main suspects.

The character sketches –

Esha Deol is Tina – the death of her uncle changes her life and plunges her into a terrifying game of hide and seek – where she has to hide from three strangers who are out to get her, and where everyone is seeking a fabulous sum of money that has mysteriously disappeared. Not just a fortune, but also her life is at stake. And nobody is what they seem to be – perhaps not even the man she loves. But Tina is made of stern stuff and is determined to see the game through to the end – come disaster or death.

Zayed Khan is Vijay – he is a charmer and con man rolled into one. Nobody can quite make out what he is all about. His name changes at every turn, and so does his character. Is he a villain? Or a hero? Should Tina trust him with her life or be afraid that he will take it? He charms, lies and fights his way through the film, taking viewers on a roller coaster ride.

Vijay Raaz is Chingar – a villain with a difference. He has an unfortunate addiction to fire and to Sheena, his fellow conspirator. He blows hot and cold as he doggedly tries to get back the fortune that he believes is his.

Gulshan Grover is Om – the leader of the trio out to recover their stolen loot. He is the menacing man with secrets up his sleeve. No one gets the better of him as he threatens to chop each of Tina's ten fingers if she doesn't hand over the loot to him.

Rakhi Sawant is Sheena – the seductress who is determined to use every asset to get to the fortune. She has a whole range of secret weapons that include a devastating figure and a gorgeous smile.

Salil Ankola is Deepak Chopra – the debonair Indian embassy official in Bangkok who protects Tina from the shadowy trio as he too wants to recover the stolen money back for his government – the Government of India.

Produced by PFH Rave, the film is directed by Sangeeth Sivan. Music: Himesh Reshammiya. Cinematography: T Ramji. Editing: Shirish Kunder. Screenplay: Venita Coelho. Dialogues: Vibha Singh. Additional dialogues: Sanjay Masoom. Action: Sham Kaushal. Choreography: Umesh Jaadhav. Lyrics: Sudhakar Sharma, Sanjay Chhel, Jay Verma. Art: Narendra Rahurikar. Costumes: Falguni Thakore.

CHURA LIYAA HAI TUMNE hits the screens in January 2003.
