The normal lifestyle of a middle class Indian is plagued with tensions. LOVE KE LIYE KUCH BHI KAREGA takes an ironic and humorous look at the lives of these normal characters who dream, and try to realise them.

* There is Prakash (Saif Ali Khan), who wants money.

* There is Sapna (Sonali Bendre), who wants Prakash.

* There is Rahul (Fardeen Khan), who wants a decent job.

* There is Anjali (Twinkle Khanna), who wants Rahul.

* There is Aslam (Johny Lever), who wants to be a movie star.

* And finally, there is Harilal aka Harry (Aftab Shivdasani), who wants everything.

Saif Ali Khan and Aftab Shivdasani crave for money, but it is their want, not need. But for Fardeen, money is an absolute need. They all believe that love is important in life and to get love, money is essential.

Aftab and Fardeen hail from small towns who arrive in Mumbai to make it big. Aftab can go to any length to reach the top, but Fardeen believes that honesty is the best policy, while Saif is the type who will not let any opportunity go waste. Aftab doesn’t have any girl opposite him as he is not a one-woman man.

LOVE KE LIYE KUCH BHI KAREGA was earlier titled JACKPOT, but this title was with some other producer, which is why the makers thought of using the opening line of the film’s song as the title for the film.

After attempting a hard-hitting film in SHOOL, E. Niwas, affectionately called Seenu, is attempting a film that he describes as situational humour.

And when asked if he had problems dealing with star egos, Niwas adds quickly, “Ego? No way! Shooting the film was a great experience. I don’t term this film as a multi-starrer. I call it a multi-friends film.”
