The movie narrates the tale of two starcrossed lovers, Raj (Attin Bhalla) and Sandhya (Preeti Mehra).

While Sandhya comes from a shady and sorbid background, Raj belongs to an affluent family. Sandhya’s father, Badshah (Harsh Chhaya), is a pimp who desperately wants his daughter to join the oldest profession. And Sandhya is coveted by one of the kingpins of Bombay’s underworld, Arjun Sherawat (Yashpal Sharma), who enters into a pact with Badshah and literally purchases her. When Raj and Sandhya come to know about this, they lose no time in eloping. Raj’s friendship with his grandfather, Dadu (Kader Khan), comes to his rescue and Dadu protects the fugitive lovebirds from Arjun and Badshah. But not for long! The police eventually nab the lovers and Raj is placed under arrest. Badshah whisks Sandhya away for marriage with Arjun. And then, in the finale, Arjun kills Badshah before being killed by Raj who is then united with his beloved, Sandhya.
