The Govinda-Rani Mukherji combo was witnessed twice earlier – HADH KAR DI AAPNE and PYAAR DIWANA HOTA HAI. They are back with CHALO ISHQ LADAAYE, produced by Vijay Mehta and directed by Aziz Sajawal. The film co-stars Zora Segal in a pivotal role.

CHALO ISHQ LADAAYE is a crucial release for Govinda, who's not going through a great phase professionally at the moment. In the making for quite some time, CHALO ISHQ LADAAYE has masti, drama, action and romance in ample doses.

CHALO ISHQ LADAAYE is directed by Aziz Sajawal, whose work includes BAAP NUMBRI BETA DUS NUMBRI, ADHARM, ANDOLAN, SHATRANJ, HERO HINDUSTANI and CHHUPA RUSTOM.

CHALO ISHQ LADAAYE revolves around Pappu (Govinda), his grandmother (Zora Segal), who slaps Pappu on any and every occasion, and Sapna (Rani Mukherji), who plays an actress in the film.

Co-starring Sanjay Suri, Mink, Kader Khan and Johny Lever, the film has music by Himesh Reshammiya.

CHALO ISHQ LADAAYE is slated for release on November 1, 2002.
