Prolific producer D. Rama Naidu produced a socially relevant film Aaghaaz about two years back that starred Suneil Shetty, Sushmita Sen and Namrata Shirodkar. Unfortunately the film didn't run well. Naidu saab this time produces a family entertainer Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein (KTKKHK) that has Fardeen Khan and Richa Pallod (who featured in the music video of Hema Sardesai - 'Piya Se Milne Aaye Nain') in lead. The promos suggest KTKKHK to be a feel good flick, which has been directed by Ravishankar. Anu Malik composes whereas Sameer writes the lyrics.

'Jabse Dekha Tumko' is a very melodious duet by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik. A romantic number that makes for repeated hearing. And what lingers for long are the words 'Khoye Khoye'. A charming number that is popular already. The title song 'Kuch Tum Kaho' is sung by Hariharan in his usual smooth 'n' silky style. The entire number sails smoothly and one just goes along the flow. A feel good number that may also be a part of the background music of the movie. It is rich in lyrical value as well and is a winner overall.

'Hua Salaam Dil Ka' - a duet by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik is also a romantic number whose promos have just started hitting the idiot box. Another fine track that gets on you very quickly and one starts humming right away. Lyrics like 'Hua Salaam Dil Ka' are a bit different as well for a change. There is a sad version of the same track in the shape of 'Yeh Kya Majboori Hai' in the voices of K.K and Prashant, which is quite situational.

Fardeen Khan gets himself behind the mike for 'Aa Ra Raa Ra Raa' just as Aamir Khan did for 'Papa Kehte Hai' in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. It is also set as a college farewell number. The concept of the number is same but the treatment is different. This number is jazzier and lacks the melody of 'Papa Kehte Hai'. Fardeen Khan tries hard to have his Hindi diction perfect. Sonu Nigam just gets along the proceedings but the song somehow lacks the charm it should have generated.

Well, if Anu Malik is composing the music, then can an album be complete without a Preeti & Pinky number!!! So..welcome the ladies in company of Shaan and Prashant to deliver yet another rehashed version of Maine Koyi Jaadu Nahi Kiya (Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai), Piya Piya O Piya Piya (Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega) and many others as 'Choori Choori'. Agreed that this time too the song is entertaining as ever and will catch up with the masses. But the question is whether all this may become too monotonous in coming weeks/months? Till we get an answer to this, enjoy listening to this one !!

'Tuhi Hai' is a typical Sunidhi Chauhan number - a pacy track that has Shaan singing along. A foot tapping number that may not last for years to come but makes an impression while you are hearing it. In short - TIMEPASS.

Well, after not too happening scores in Badhai Ho Badhai and Awara Paagal Deewana and some fairly good music for Ab Ke Baras, Anu Malik delivers somwhat OK music with KTKKHK that has lilting melodies like 'Jabse Dekha Tumko', the title song and 'Hua Salaam Dilka' and some foot tapping numbers 'Choori Choori' and 'Tuhi Hai'.
