Priyanshu Chatterjee, Dia Mirza, Rakesh Bapat and Neha get one more opportunity to prove their credentials at the box office with ' Koi Mere Dil Mein Hai ', a Prime Hi-Tech Studios Pvt. Ltd. production. 'Naam Gum Jayega' , starring Rakesh and Dia, is already stuck in the cans for months now. One hopes KMDMH meets with better results. Directed by Deepak Ramsay, it is a typical T-Series setup with Nikhil Vinay and Faaiz Anwar in charge of the songs.

Title song ' Koi Mere Dil Mein Hai ' is a conventional yet melodious way to begin the album. A routine ' pyaar mohabbat number', it is pleasant to be heard (along with the much mandated ' Instrumental ' that follows soon) in spite of carrying a typical 'music bank product' label. Anuradha Paudwal and Kumar Sanu (or Sahu, as mentioned wrongly on the cover!) play their parts as required.

' Kabhi To Nazar Milao ' jodi of Adnan Sami and Asha Bhonsle sing the sensual'n'naughty ' Baahon Mein Nahi Rehna ' that sounds good to ears. With a more saleable starcast, the number could have gone some distance but Priyanshu and Dia just about manage to make the number stay afloat. Both Adnan and Ashaji give their best to this track that may die after the movie is out of theatres.

After Kumar Sanu and Adnan Sami, it is Udit Narayan's turn to feature in the third straight love duet of the album ' Mujhse Dosti Karogi '. A track about ' dosti ', ' aashiqui ' and ' zindagi ', it tries to be that extra-sweet bubble gum kinda number that doesn't do any harm to the continuity of the album but on the same lines doesn't give one anything new that makes you go 'wow'. In short, a routine song that you may have heard a million times before but still do not turn it off as it sounds good even today.

After a sizzling car wash act by Koena Mitra in ' Sun Soniyo ' ( Musafir ) to which Hema Sardesai lent her vocals, it is the singer's turn yet again to do the same for ' Car Wash Music ' (yes, that's the title of the song!!). A westernized track, it has funky beats and some very good rendition by Hema. A 'hinglish' track that is predominantly composed on heavy beats, it is quite short and does well during its duration. One may look forward to the picturization of this number, which is seemingly hot and high voltage.

Things seem to be going in a better direction with Sameer written ' Koi To Tere Chand Se ', a sweet-romantic-melodious number by Udit Narayan. The best song of the album so far, it exudes charm and turns out to be quite enjoyable overall. The track is pretty lively and brings a smile on your face. One can in fact well imagine Udit Narayan to be his traditionally smiling best while recording this number. This song is worth to be heard repeatedly.

Lyrics of ' Shararati Shararati ' do not really make you jump with excitement but the music at least makes you tap your feet. More in the mode of Himesh Reshammiya brand (or is it because of Reshammiya regular Shaan singing the number?), this pacy number has nice beats to dance on. Now the surprising part is that there is NO remix of this number as traditionally there was a place for one here! Producers and the album company should ensure that the number is well picturized and promoted and given enough mileage to be noticed.

So we had a few romantic numbers, a couple of sensual tracks and a foot tapping dance number. So what's left from the regular menu here? A ' dard-e-judaai ' track! And so, here it goes as ' Na Dil Ko Lagate Na Hairan Hote '. No, not again! Because frankly speaking after all the other tracks that were good in spite of being predictable and routine, there was no need to place this situational track by Anuradha Paudwal and Udit Narayan as the last track in the album and disturb the flow. Well, ignore the number. That's the best solution for the time being!!

KMDMH is a regular romantic music album with an above-average score. Those who have liked this brand of music for years and still are in mood to hear such numbers would be interested in hearing the songs from this album.
