It's no stopping Chi Chi bhaiya!! Barely has Pyaar Deewana Hota Hai come and gone, comes another supposedly fun filled flick - Waah! Tera Kya Kehna. A film with an unusual title that has Raveena Tandon and Preeti Jhangiani playing the female leads. And surprise surprise - it also stars Shammi Kapoor! Now this should be some riot movie!! WTKK is produced by Sibte Hasaan Rizvi and directed by Manoj Agarwal who has a flop Pardesi Babu and an average hit - Hadh Kardi Aapne behind him. Incidentally both the films starred Govinda. Sameer writes the lyrics whereas Jatin-Lalit compose.

Highlight of WTKK is the Hinglish song 'I want money' sung by Govinda himself in company of Shweta Pandit. Song is heavily inspired by Jim Carrey style of dialogue delivery. This number conveys a lot about the movie where the main protagonist hides no desire for money in his life - this way or that way! Kind of a comic song which is strictly for Govinda's fans.

'Mujhe Teri Nazar' which features twice in the album and has been sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik is a routine Bambaiya love song that doesn't have the appropriate punch with it that can make it rise it above an average love. The girl who was the most dressed in the youth brigade of Mohabbatein tries to shed her inhibitions in this number and infuses some oomph in this number (and remaining movie as well - as the promos and the album inlay cover suggests.) Ya, we are talking about Preeti Jhangiani who proves that she is not just a 'chui-mui' girl any more!!

Another duet by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik is even less impressive 'Ye Mujhe Kya Hoowa'. A love song, it fails to invoke any lovey dovey feeling. Typical lyrics make the song even more predictable. A No-No !! Sudhesh Bhosle imitates Mehmood well in the hyderabadi number Halloo Halloo. A number composed strictly for a select audience, it has the ever-sensuous Anuradha Sriram singing in the hyderabadi accent. A fairly enjoyable number only if you a Govinda fan.

If you really want to lose all your sensibilities and hair by scratching your head and thinking where hindi movie songs are heading for then just listen to 'Karele Ki Shaadi'. One of the most irritating songs written and composed in recent years, it is surprising to hear Abhijeet singing such an insane number. The only thing understood in the song is that the singer sings half the number in 'totli zubaan' and recites more than half the vegetable names. Hear it an you may not believe it even then!! God knows what the number is all about!! In fact the album may be bought just to get an answer to this.

The title song is disappointing as well. It is a qawalli sung by Roopkumar Rathod and Kavita Krishnamurthy and is a poor caricature of the qawallis composed earlier. After a while, it starts getting on your nerves and you heave a sigh when the qawalli gets over. And this is not for one but two reasons. One that the qawalli itself is boring and second that it is the last track of the album and you know that you don't have to expose yourself to more torture. Do we need to say anything more about Waah! Tera Kya Kehna.
