With Rock On!, you kinda begin to get this vague Bollywood-rock genre. It's constructed like a standard Hindi movie song, but a few hyperactive guitars are thrown into the mix.

The album kicks off with Socha Hai by Farhan. In a nutshell, it is a song encouraging contemplation of questions such as 'why the earth is round' or 'why silk is soft'. Farhan may not be a Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan but is effective as a lead singer of a rock band...

'Rock On!' sums up to be a complete rocking experience and S-E-L ensure that this album lives up to the expectations and the title. Looks like they should add Farhan to the triumvirate. Don't just download the music, go ahead and purchase a collector's item. Worth it!

Pichle Saat Dinon Mein further enhances the rock feel esp. the live concert version where Farhan sings to a live audience and seeks their participation. The otherwise soft-spoken Farhan infuses fiery energy in his rendition and justifies the live stadium feel.

The album ends with Caralisa Monteiro's 'Phir Dekhiye'. This is another slow number. She gets a great opportunity to display her histrionic behind the mike as the song is rendered with just a guitar being strummed in the background. It is pleasing and soothing on the ears.
