Sorry Bhai is a delightful film that comes alive, solely on the power-packed performances of its parallel brigade: actors who live beyond the parameters of the traditional star system.

The tagline of SORRY BHAI is 'Come fall in love with your brother's bride'. That itself should keep the public back at home.

The highlight of the movie remains the love making scene between Sharman and Chitrangada.

The film is predictable from the word go and the dull pace literally puts you off to sleep. The whole 'Maa Kasam' thing ends up being unintentionally hilarious.

Sorry Bhai! may be an interesting concept, but it doesn't turn out to be an interesting film in entirety. For it to be a complete film, it needed a tight screenplay, which is sorely missing here.

"Sorry, Bhai" swims languorously in a terrain that covers the thumb-sucking selfishness of childhood as well as the sexual friction within a family where a beautiful woman appears as a bone of contention.

The strength of Sorry Bhai is to remain light hearted even in the most heavy-headed situations. The climax scene where the brother confronts and confesses of his love is an example of stirring sensitivity.

Undoubtedly the film in its concept is fantastic. It's fresh, fun and most importantly well treated; and that is a delight.

The film never quite decides what side of the comedy/drama line it should walk on, and while the thematic romance is set over only a few days time -- inexplicable, since we'd willingly believe it took longer -- the third act comes in a hurry.

It comes as a real surprise as how a filmmaker like Onir, who has made sensitive films like My Brother... Nikhil and Bas Ek Pal could come up with something like this. Despite choosing a done-to-death subject of a love triangle, the film leaves ample scope for improvisation. Sorry Bhai has nothing outstanding to offer besides a few amusing moments.

More than just a romantic story, 'Sorry Bhai' taps on the bonding between two brothers, and between the two women in the story.

The plot of Sorry Bhai may be simplistic, but the film is not so much about the plot as it is about the characters, and director Onir does a fine job of writing complex, flawed characters who don't come with any easy answers.

Sorry Bhai is the story of two brother ? Harsh (Sanjay Suri) and Siddharth (Sharman Joshi) ? who are as opposite as they come. Harsh is a businessman in Mauritius who wants to earn a lot of money for a secure future for himself. Siddharth on the other hand is an idealistic scientist who hopes to prove his theory to the world.

The only thing that they share in common is their love for the film Casablanca, and their joy at sliding down staircase railings.

Onir's Sorry Bhai!, however, soon forgets the dog with the wooden expression.
