There is neither any story development in progress nor any well defined characters on the screen as normally seen in the previous works of the director...

The usually innovative Raj Kumar Santoshi opts for a surprisingly conventional formula. His execution too is uninspired borrowing heavily from past entertainers. The characters are your stereotypical nagging father, rude step mom, supportive friends, etc. The setting is not Manhattan but the vintage Ootyand Goa...
