2 of 8 people found this review helpful The script of the film relies too much on coincidental luck. Director Soham Shah rubs too hard on luck but at the same time stresses on the adage that 'the only thing certain about luck is it's going to change'. On that thought here's wishing him better luck next time!

2 of 3 people found this review helpful Luck is straight out of the '80s. Medical miracles, clashing heroes, sacrificing junior artistes and even an attempted rape... it's all there! But even if the makers made this film for the masses; the execution is just too lethargic and unconvincing. Luck is a lame reality show playing on celluloid.

2 of 5 people found this review helpful Luck seems, perhaps it will miraculously transform into something watchable, nay, something entertaining. This is, of course, a fallacy -- and we continue watching this tackily made bore unfolding like a poorly written comicbook, one that was never cleaned up after an adolescent first draft inception. And it never, ever gets better. Just our luck...

1 of 3 people found this review helpful 'Luck', which is based entirely on the premise of it brimming over with edge-of-the-seat action, tips us over a couple of times-- at best. The rest is spent building up to a climax which isn't.

0 of 2 people found this review helpful Luck is often unintentionally hilarious for the clunky dialogue, and particularly for the ridiculous climax scene which is unquestionably the silliest you've seen in years.

Luck is so heavy on style, it seems to completely forget about the script. So much so, the film is like one extended reality show...

0 of 1 people found this review helpful Luck is a spectacular waste of an interesting premise, a good ensemble cast and a huge budget owing to laborious story telling, poor production design, pompous dialogue and average stunts for an action film...

1 of 2 people found this review helpful That may change after this film. What doesn't seem to change, however, is the way our filmmakers blow up money, time, and resources, film after film. What luck!

4 of 6 people found this review helpful Seriously, the premise and the broad sub-plots are very interesting indeed. The execution isn't all bad either. But the details in terms of characterizations or dialogues are the pits. And it makes you cry for sanity. And the climax is the mother of all ridiculous climaxes. Even for a film that is far away from reality, the climax seemed completely out of place.

1 of 2 people found this review helpful Basically, this film is something to watch if you have nothing better to see on a rainy Sunday afternoon, which I am sure all of us have at home on the idiot box.
Better "Luck" next time.

1 of 3 people found this review helpful Luck is about... Luck, luck and more luck. It's also about betting, an organized crime pitting human against humans, from all over the world in traps of death. Who survives and who has more Luck, forms the rest of Luck!

0 of 1 people found this review helpful Luck is full of hooks with the reality game putting out one sickening level after the other -- one underwater and another shot mid-air. These scenes are well-done but they're not a hundred per cent there...

2 of 4 people found this review helpful On the whole, Luck won't change character or even give you anything to think about, but is a good entertainer. The elderly and the weak-hearted are advised to keep away, though.

2 of 4 people found this review helpful Luck is a slick mega action thriller that is full of death-defying stunts, breath-taking locales, and a racy soundtrack. If you're ready for an adrenaline rush, gamble no further and go see 'Luck'!

1 of 2 people found this review helpful A film like Luck needs a good dose of high-octane stunts but Allan Amin's action lacks punch. Full marks for the opening train sequence, however, the underwater and parachute scenes are not very convincing...

Luck a very bad film but it wasn't a good film too. It is an above average film which deserves a watch. Watch it for the great locations, stunts, Sanjay Dutt and other actors.

In "Luck", there is neither any striking spectacular event nor a crescendo kind of impact, building towards its climax. The writers are only interested in talking about the idea of betting mafia playing games involving human lives and that's it...
