6 of 6 people found this review helpful A good comedy is hard to come by these days and this one is brilliant. Ballary can add the first feather in his cap for delivering a movie like Bheja Fry. The movie manages to show the importance of fools and idiots in our lives who unexpectedly can come to our rescue in dire situations – despite knowing the fact that they are being mocked at.

3 of 5 people found this review helpful The film, of course, is not this cast, however interesting they could have been. The reason anyone wants to watch this film is because of the VJ-boys fast proving to be India's sharpest comic acts, the lads who shone in last year's magnificent Khosla Ka Ghosla...

2 of 3 people found this review helpful Rajat Kapoor and Vinay Pathak are both credited in the titles for improvisation in the dialogues of the film. Occupying the maximum screen time they both come out with such uproarious comic timing that at times you almost fall off your seats laughing...

2 of 3 people found this review helpful BHEJA FRY isn't an ultra-creative laugh-out-loud film, but given recent trends, it isn't a bad effort at all. While making these 'different', 'hatke' films, there is a tendency for the actors, film makers to go a little 'too hatke' and ham out something intolerable (read HOME DELIVERY)...

2 of 3 people found this review helpful Vinay without Ranvir Shorey is like dosa without sambar. The two make a great pair when it comes to comedy. As the IT inspector, who is fond of cricket, Ranvir entertains in his short act. The scene when he drops in at Rajat's home on Vinay's insistence and learns that his wife is out with another man is brilliantly funny.

1 of 4 people found this review helpful This is one of the awful cliches about Indian-born Muslims which needs to be corrected instead of being repeated. It's just not funny... and warrants immediate scrutiny not only by the censors but also by those who have been working tirelessly for the cause of secularism.

3 of 3 people found this review helpful The main ingredient in this Bheja Fry is an idiot who is the hero of the film. And the idea to have an idiot as the hero isn't idiotic at all. The idiot here isn't really dumb but is least conscious or bothered about the world around and doesn't realize that people are laughing on his expense. If you just ponder, you will come across so many idiots like these in real life...

2 of 3 people found this review helpful Watching Bheja Fry is like watching your favorite sitcom. Witty conversations and animated comedy. The story of this film is mostly suited for stage plays. Vinay Pathak is the star of the show. Bheja Fry is a 95 minute (no interval) comedy film that makes sure that the entire theater is in splits throughout the duration. Go, watch it and get entertained!!
