6 of 8 people found this review helpful The film is set in Mumbai and revolves around the relationships of four women Mayuri (Rekha), Natasha (Vasundhara Das), Kanika (Kim Sharma) and Anjali (Mahima Chaudhary) -even though the four of them aren't of the same age, they've grown to be the best of friends.

2 of 3 people found this review helpful Amar Butala’s Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamaana, has a tagline that says, ‘Why should boys have all the fun?” This implies that girls – the Kudiyan of the title— should also have some fun. However, the women in the film, despite some high-pitched screeching, do not seem to be enjoying themselves.
The film would probably be okay as an episode or two of a TV serial, but an Indian Sex and The City or Friends it is not. In fact, it is rather a half-baked story of four female friends, who spend a whole lot of time in a beauty parlour, but show no signs of an intelligent life.

1 of 2 people found this review helpful Jaane bhi do yaaron ! Let’s stick to a hero-oriented world and give up this faux spiel about kudi power. Not even Rekha, the mother of all kudis can save this one from super flop status. For who of you would be interested in the love life of Mahima Chaudhary, specially when she chooses to date beta Ashmit Patel?

Why? Reason One: whatever possessed Rekha to do this chicka-sick flick? It couldn’t be just for kicks because throughout she wears this awful pained Vicks Vaporub expression. Often she sips that Browntini and sings a premixed version of Din dhal jaaye, while sitting on a jhoola. Meanwhile her husband (Never Mind) looks violently turned-on as if he’d just sat on a burning choola.

1 of 2 people found this review helpful Perhaps it isn't that boring, and we are too unkind. And since the movie reviewer's beholden duty is to review movies, here goes. The title KKHZ is ostensibly about how women are (or ought to be) on top in this day and age. Three friends - Mayuri (Rekha), Kanika (Kim Sharma) and Natasha (Vasundhara Das) - attempt to find a suitable boy for their unmarried pal Anjali (Mahima Choudhary). There is some urgency in the matter, because they've wagered that Anjali will be married before her 25th birthday.

1 of 2 people found this review helpful What a way to usher in 2007! As you can see, a brand new year at the movies is kick-started by this week's new release, the chick-flick Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamaana. Directed by Amar Butala, the film stars Rekha, Mahima Chaudhary, Vasundhara Das and Kim Sharma as four Sex & The City-style gal pals who bond over champagne at their beauty salon and rib each other endlessly about their respective partners.

1 of 2 people found this review helpful The movie is supposed to be a lighthearted comedy sprinkled with some tear-jerking moments. But it neither makes you laugh, nor moves you emotionally. Yes, it does titillate a bit, thanks to Mahima Chaudhary and Kim Sharma.

1 of 2 people found this review helpful KKHZ is one of those movies you'd rather see in those Volvo busses on your way to Pune;that too not out of interest but out of compulsion. Watching this movie you wonder what diva Rekha is doing amongst these made up people. The only high that the movie leaves you with is Rekha's rather unusual performance and that amazing song she sings.

1 of 2 people found this review helpful Cinematography is loud and unpolished. Dialogues are amateur and silly at times. Each of the ladies suffers from over the top and loud dressing. They look and behave garish. Mahima Choudhary’s dress style seems to keep displaying her well endowed bosom too many times, Rekha’s red lips and dark make-up makes her almost scary looking, Vasundhara Das needs to go on a diet and Kim Sharma’s clothing couldn’t get any tighter. As for acting, there is hardly any of it by the ladies, Rekha’s acting is crass and often she goes over the top in both the comic and emotional sequences. Mahima who at one time gave decent performances seems to be getting rusty and does a fairly poor job, Kim Sharma needs to learn acting and Vasundhara Das is mechanical. Ashmit Patel hardly has any scope and even then manages to botch up his performance. The rest of the cast seem like misfits in the film.
