Dia Mirza missed shooting for a few hours thanks to a finger injury on the sets of Shoebite. The actress injured her hand while enacting a scene where she had to slip into the rear seat of the car parked on a steep slope. As she was slipping in, with her hand clutching the edge of the boot, a unit hand unknowingly slammed it shut. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where her fingers were examined. However, the doctors ruled out any possibility of a sever fracture and diagnosed it as ligament tear.
