This movie also got released in 2007. Welcome is a movie about gangsters(anil,nana) and their quest to get their sister(katrina) married. On the other hand - Akshay's uncle (paresh) is bent upon getting him into a nice sharif family. Hence both of them are stuck on their marriage front. Now akshay & katrina meet by chance and fall in love. And then the story continues with ample amount of confusion, flip flops, dramas and has a happy ending :). It is a total masala movie - with many skits interveawed together. The movie is hilarious in some segments. Acting wise - every one is good. Feroz khan as RDX (god father) is awesome !. Katrina has improved a lot. Akshay, Anil, Nana r good actors.. Music is strictly okay - nothing great Overall its at most a once watch movie - typical masala/fun movie.

Although I think the film was too long! And since too much of a good thing is bad... yet this film was worth the time! It was hilarious! I've always thought that Paresh Rawal was the best comedian in the film industry but Nana Patekar proved that wrong! Nana Patekar was totally hilarious; he was the best thing in the film. I didn't like Feroz Khan's entrance scene; he totally gave the film a silly atmosphere but the comedy script was strong enough to survive it. Mallika Sherawat was so fun! She makes a nice comic pair with Nana Patekar; I hope to see them together in another comedy film. And everyone else did a great job.

What can i say about welcome. It's a leave your brain home, bring your family, and laugh your self silly movie. Akshay the rising star was the main lead but nana patekar and anil kapoor take his spotlight away. Anil kapoor the great actor he is fulfilled the role majunu perfectly. And the natural actor nana patekar was so hilarious he just makes it so realistic. Mallika was also good no over acting just exactly the way she had to do it. RDX was the reason why everything was happening and he was the reason why i was having a migrane. RDX tends to annoy the audience. Last but not least katrina kaif her role a monkey could have played and the movie would have been a bigger success. The movie is fantastic leave you worries at home and bring your family.
