The solid n dependable Mr Bachchan returns as Nagre in Sarkar 3, but this version disappointed me. The previous parts were far superior. The standard RGV techniques are on full display here, like, in-your-face close ups of people n random objects, dark rooms n characters, slow dialogue recital, tension-filled situations n sudden murders. Amit is good as the faithful grandson, Manoj is bumped off before he makes an impact. Talented actresses like Pathak n Hattangady have been wasted. Jackie is made to look more funny than menacing. Some more brutality would have definitely added value to the film.
