whoever made this needs to spell robot correctly and btw where is Ash name?

Its said to be THE most expensive indian movie made till date at budget of Rs 100 crore!

Just a correction. Ash has said in her recent interview that it will not be made in Tamil & Hindi but only in Tamil .

here the quote :


“After Sujatha Sir's demise the project got delayed slightly. People chose this tragedy as an occasion to spread all kinds of rumours when the fact is death slowed down Robot.

But now we're back on track, though now we need to work on a tighter schedule. People seem to think it's in Tamil and Hindi. But it's only in Tamil,” adds Aishwarya.

A. R. Rahman has begun composing songs for the Rajini starrer 'Robot'.

Sources close to the music composer say that work has already begun in earnest as director Shankar is keen to start filming this August.

The director is on a location hunting spree while Rahman is busy composing the tunes. With Rajinikanth having completed the shooting for 'Kuselan', it looks certain that 'Robot' will begin this August.

'Robot', produced by Ayngaran International, will have Aishwarya Rai playing the heroine. The mega-budget movie will be shot in various locations across the globe.

Aishwarya Rai out of Shankar’s “Robot” ?




If reports are to be believed then actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is no more part of announced Rajinikanth’s mega budget movie ‘Robot‘ directed by Shankar.

The main reason behind her decision was her inability to grant her dates at a stretch of 2 years that Shankar wanted to shoot his film in. Shankar has signed aishwarya with Rs. 4 crores and planned to shoot for over two years and even wished to extent the shooting beyond two years( normally Shankar’s movie will go beyond initially planned scheduled) and therefore Ash walked out.

Shankar is the director who gave Aishwarya first break in “Jeans”. Shankar is in final talks with Deepika Padukone for the role, according to reports.
