A look at Mithun Chakraborty's character in CC2C

While Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone are going all out to promote their latest flick Chandni Chowk To China, let's not forget that the film has yet another veteran actor in an important role. Yes Ladies and Gentleman…we are talking about none other than Mithun Chakraborty.
While Mithun has been seen here and there in the promos of the film, not much is known about his character. We quizzed director Nikhil Advani about Mithun da's role in the film. "Mithun da has a very important role in the film. He plays Akshay's foster parent. Akshay calls him Dada. He owns a Dhaba. He is the one man Akshay should be listening to but never listens to", says Nikhil.
If the buzz is to be believed then Mithun's character does bring in a lot of emotional moments to the film. "Yes, Mithun's character is the emotional backbone of the film. Because of the tragedy that happens to Mithun, the entire film changes"
It would be interesting to see the coming together of current superstar Akshay Kumar share screen space and veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty for the first time ever.
