After the release of Rock On, everyone addresses him as KD (Killer Drummer). Purab Kohli surely never imagined gaining such accolades for his performance but nonetheless he is on seventh heavens and is really thrilled about it. He had proved his acting prowess at the start of his career with films like Bas Yun Hi, My Brother Nikhil, Awarapan, Woh Lamhe.

Purab Kohli: kajol...I think working with Excel is a wonderful exp. farhan is a great guy so it's always pleasure.
Arghavan: have you ever thought Rock On would turn out to be a huge success?
Purab Kohli: arghavan... well one had lots of expectations but didn't think it would be so big. It feels great now!

Purab Kohli: nisha Sinbad the sailor.... when we were shooting the film every time we shot a song that one would become my fav. But by the end of it i think its Sinbad.

Purab Kohli: sethi: ha ha. A salt water gargle. i used to get up every morning and sneeze a lot so my cousin recommended this. It works wonderfully. Rock salt and warm water first thing in the morning

Purab Kohli: arghavan: I don't think Farhan has the shortage of content and he still remade Don. i think as a film maker you one would love to go through the process of a film that was once made and you loved watching.

Purab Kohli: deeps1: ha ha that's become the highlight of Rock On! It was Abhishek's idea. 3 days before we shot the song he asked me. Will you sing 'I will survive' in the party sequence? i loved the idea and i think it worked beautifully.

Purab Kohli: Babar: 13th floor was lovely. Sandhya is a great actor to be stuck in an elevator in for the whole night that was the story of the film
