She took her first step in Bollywood with Haal-E-Dil and true to the title; she did make quite a hearts flutter with her stunning portrayal! Even though she happened to be the Director-Producer Kumar Mangat's daughter, she chose to strive her way through Bollywood by assisting many directors in filmmaking. Her performance in the film was proof enough of the fact that Bollywood has its very own Cinderella, after along time though!
And the response to her chat session with Bollywood Hungama was proof enough of the fact that the ‘Dil’ of her fans is far from being in peace, all thanks to her million-dollar smile!

Amita Pathak: He should be loving, should take care of me, should respect my family and love them the way I do.

Fenil Seta: Hi this is FENIL. I noticed that you wear a 'taaviz' and you even worn it while shooting for Haal-E-Dil. Is it to bring good luck?
Amita Pathak: Fenil, Its not a taaviz. Its an evil eye, It was gifted to me by my bro. I believe that its my lucky charm. Hence, I am wearing it.

Vasundra: what was ur least fav subject at school?
Amita Pathak: In school it was Maths (Algebra) and in college, it was Psychology.
Vasundra: did you get support from ur family before getting into it?
Amita Pathak: vasu, It took me 15 yrs to convince them, coz' they were really not keen on it. As I belong to a Punjabi family.
Lets: hi amita, how would you rate urself as an actress?
Amita Pathak: Lets, I can’t talk abt myself, you should watch my film and do let me know.
Maha: hiii amita do you intends to work in Pakistani plays.
Amita Pathak: maha, I really don’t know. I have not got any offers. But, I would not mind them.
Fahiz: What will be ur next step considering ur first movie didn’t gain rave reviews?
Amita Pathak: fahiz, I wud wrk on the things that I wud need to. I wanted to see the reviews 1st before taking my next step.
Maha: who is ur favorite actor Amita?
Amita Pathak: maha, Its Hrithik Roshan, Big B and Ajay Devgan.
Vasundra: how was ur over all experience in Haal-E-Dil?
Amita Pathak: Vasun, the overall exp was GREAT. Everything was special and new. I was really excited abt Haal- E -Dil. It was an overall great experience!
Fahiz : Hiya Amita, have seen Haal-E-Dil, you look little plump into it, are you working out?
Amita Pathak: Fahiz, Yes, I am working out a lot. The reason for that we were shooting in Ladakh, where the altitude is damn high, resulting in lack of oxygen. And you can’t wrk out there. Now, that I am back to Bombay, WATCH OUT FOR ME!!!!
Allka: hi... any pranks were played on the set of Haal-E-Dil?
Amita Pathak: Allka, I was at the receiving end all the time, with Adhyayan and Nakuul at the helm of things.
Vasundra: have you always wanted to become an actress?
Amita Pathak: vasu, ever since I was 3 years old, I always used to be on the sets of my Dad's films. I always saw the frenzy that Madhuri Dixit used to create. That's when I decided to get into films!

Vasundra: how important is a filmy background to get pass of Bollywood?
Amita Pathak: vasu, I don’t think its imp, but its just an added bonus. But, at the end of the day, it’s the talent that counts, irrespective of whose son/ daughter you r!
Pintu: hy, I am working, I wait for you whats ur fav hangout place in Mumbai?
Amita Pathak: Pintu, My fave hangout in Mumbai is a restaurant called Dongi Vonie in Juhu.
Fahiz: how are you?...how was Adhyayan as a person?
Amita Pathak: fahiz, He is a big prankster. So, be careful if you see him around.

Amita Pathak: Kinu, you never knows. I have worked behind the camera too! So, watch out for me in that arena as well!
kinu : hi I’ m also from Punjab. Do you know Punjabi?
Amita Pathak: Kinu, I do know Punjabi. Tussi Punjab wich kitthe rendhey ho?
Sandy: hi Amita ...u have filmy background...but this throw more challenges to prove urself..What do you say? and what you are doing for it?
Amita Pathak: Sandy, Its definitely does, I saw it throughout this film. Am working hard on it. Now, I know what to do more!
Vasundra: ur fav holiday destinations?
Amita Pathak: Vasu, Switzerland! Its too good man !
Vasundra: in Real are you like ur character in Hall-E-Dil?
Amita Pathak: vasu, Yes dear. I am just like my character in the film.
Kinu: you even got to share screen space with Ajay and Kajol...how was that experience?
Amita Pathak: fahiz, It was fun. They are so experience and fab at their wrk. And for a newcomer like me, It was simply a great exp to share screen with them.

Maha: hiii amita!!! who is ur biggest inspiration in da film industry?
Amita Pathak: Maha, It was initially Madhuri Dixit. Now, its the eternal Kajol didi.
Lets: I think you look beautiful...why did you try in ur father's film as a debut?
Amita Pathak: Lets, thank you so very much. I think it was not me. They thought that I suited the character. And its just not the case that My Dad decided to launch the film to launch me.
Kinu: you were not promoting Haal-E-Dil in any of TV show..
Amita Pathak: Kinu, Coz' we were promoting amongst a much larger audience and all live...
Fahiz: name five things without you cannot live.
Amita Pathak: fahiz, My cell phone, My arm's lucky charm, my lip balm, My car and my credit card.

Amita Pathak: June, I Just do not think so. Shekharji is very experience and he just wouldn’t have let his son do anything without knowing the subject and his role in film.

Amita Pathak: Fenil, I had offers earlier also... But was just waiting for the response of Haal-E-Dil.

Amita Pathak: Lets, I am very open to criticism. I take it in my stride.

Fenil Seta: Did you like the film No Smoking that was produced by your dad?
Amita Pathak: Fenil, I did watch No Smoking. And on a frank note, I was not really happy with the film's outcome.
