Versatility is synonymous with this actor who has always proved his mettle as an actor in whatever roles he has played so far. From Lakhan in Ram Lakhan to Munna in Tezaab or Vikrant in Taal to Shivaji Rao in Nayak, he has done it all with great deal of perfection.
And now, he is all set carry forward the legacy in his forthcoming venture with Subhash Ghai’s Black and White which also stars Shefali Shah and newcomer Anurag Sinha.

Anil Kapoor : Black and White is about relationships , communal harmony, patriotism, secularism , trying to understand each other, love, colors , music

Anil Kapoor : every film maker usually try and praise newcomers to the sky before the release to excite the audience...sometimes it just is to boost the ego....but here whatever Subhash Ghai speaks about him is genuine

acees : hi sir good afternoon...so wtz your character in the film?
Anil Kapoor : I play a professor who teaches Urdu in a college called Zakir Hussain college in Chandni Chowk. I am a very honest, ideal , sincere , man of principles but full of life and subtle humor
acees : how r u feeling after the super success of welcome
Anil Kapoor : acees u see, after a film is a super success you feel good, your price goes up , your value goes up but I have seen this before
acees : is 'Black n White' a commercial flick? or is it based on true events?
Anil Kapoor : its based on true events....its shot very realistically in very real life locations. yet the film is commercial
pratik : hi sir, what kind of research did you do for the film?
Anil Kapoor : pratik this is a film which reqd a lot of research.....I am basically from Mumbai but this character is from delhi so I had to brush up my Urdu and met a lot of professors of Urdu ...his name is Rajan Mathur so I even met a lot of Mathurs to get a feel of their dialect etc
ratedi : so how was your chemistry between u and Shefali?
Anil Kapoor: Well I think Shefali saw the film and she told her husband that my chemistry with Anil is superb so I guess it must be good.
pratik : sir u r so cute, is there a sequel to Welcome
Anil Kapoor : pratik, well I am looking forward to the sequel of welcome...as soon as the script is ready we will start working
acees : y a debutante as ur co-star?
Anil Kapoor : there are certain scripts which need debutants so that the character comes into focus...when u watch the film you will understand why Mr. Ghai cast him
V@RyANi : from ur film Meri Jung with Mr. Ghai to Black and White with him again how much has hanged between u'll
Anil Kapoor : well I am the same don’t know about Subhashji :)
tausif : hi anilji, is it true that u went to chandni chowk to have the real feel of the atmosphere der
Anil Kapoor : ya I did go to chandni chowk......and was there for three days
Tausif: what was ur reaction when u saw sonam on screen for the first time?
Anil Kapoor : I couldnt believe it tausif....when I saw Sonam on screen.
Nargis : Hi Mr Anil Kapoor, Firstly sorry for my bad english, I'm from Paris so my english is not exellent, I hope you will understand all I will try to ask...Are you still interested to make a film on Raj Kapoor's life ? Raj Kapoor is my favourite actor and I'm very excited about this project...
Anil Kapoor : this was just a rumour nargis....i think his sons will be the right people to make a film on him

Anil Kapoor : Nargis, my inspirations and idols keep on changing......
farhan : how old are you now sir just an asking
Anil Kapoor : farhan I am just 21 years old....as old as my daughter Sonam
Nargis : Which one of your film do you rate as the best?
Anil Kapoor : quite a few of them....nargis most of them
sam : I think Sonam Kapoor was gorgeous in Saawariya... how much credit would you take for her acting skills?
Anil Kapoor : sam no credit...cos acting is something which is inborn...u cant teach or inculcate acting in an actress

Anil Kapoor : well shekhar is very keen to do a sequel ....I hope it happens soon

Anil Kapoor : Though, the title of the film is b n W but it is the most colourful films ever made
Nargis : Can you tell us about your next projects: Race, Yuvraaj, Tashan, Priyadarshan's Chandralekha, Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire, Mahesh Manjrekar's Unusual Love Story, Roshan Andrews' Shortkut...
Anil Kapoor : well all 3 are exciting and have big stars in big banners.... I am looking forward to all of them Slumdog Millionaire is the most exciting role of my career. I have finished shooting for the film no idea about Priyadarshan and Mahesh’s film

Anil Kapoor : Shortkut is a complete , fun , masala entertainer and Akshaye Khanna plays an Assistant director in the film
