"I love Shah Rukh's eyes. He has the same dimple on his left cheek as I have. And the only reason that I can wake up at 3 at night is if someone asked me to watch Dil To Paagal Hai," says a super excited Divya Babbar, a big SRK fan and a winner of the recent contest at Bollywood Hungama. "I was online and answered a few questions to a contest on Bollywood Hungama and got a call telling me that I was one of the winners and that I shall be getting three passes to the Airtel Bindass concert featuring Shah Rukh Khan on January 13 and will also be getting an opportunity to meet my favourite actor", Divya said.
Divya reached hours before the actual concert was supposed to start at Mumbai's MMRDA ground. Obviously, she was jittery, nervous and the night before had been a sleepless one. She was one of the privileged ones who were allowed access to the backstage. She saw SRK energetically practicing his steps for an hour. "For the first time I saw a concert like this and especially the rehearsal. I really enjoyed it and I would like to thank Bollywood Hungama for making my dream come true", stated Divya.
Her moment of reckoning came when she actually got up-close-n-personal with King Khan. Two minutes that changed her life have been etched in her memory, forever! "People have this perception about him that he is arrogant but he is a complete gentleman. He hugged and made everyone comfortable. I asked for an extra hug since I'm also from Delhi", Divya laughed.
Divya Babbar has a Masters degree in Extension Education from SNDT, Juhu and currently, she is pursuing Masters in Human Rights from the National Institute of Human Rights, Delhi. Her favourite hobby is watching Hindi films. It goes without saying that her favourite star is Shah Rukh Khan. According to her, SRK-Kajol make for the best onscreen couple and Dil To Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Om Shanti Om are her favourite SRK movies. "I like everything about his acting, especially what he did in Chak De India. It was very different and nice."
Well, the bigger the fan, the bigger the expectations. Is there anything that you don't like in Shah Rukh? "He should change his hairstyle. It seems to be a copy of Amitabh Bachchan. He shouldn't copy when he can create a style of his own," Divya signed off.
Divya's starry experience is an eye opener for all you guys. Start participating in contests on Bollywood Hungama and never know, like Divya, you could be the next lucky winner to meet your favourite Bollywood star.
