Why Deepika Padukone can't have enough of idli dosa Click here to add this article to My Clips

By Screen Weekly, December 11, 2007 - 09:04 IST

After her dazzling “double” debut in OSO, pretty Ms Padukone surely is headed for a wild fame game. But the Capricornian has her head firmly on her shoulders. Just check out her favourite things, hardly any designer tags in there:

Food:
“I am most fond of our South Indian snacks, I can’t have enough of idli dosa,” lets on the famous Banglorean.

Apparel:
She may be seen in the de regueur denims and tees, but that’s not her preferred dress code if you please,”I love Indian wear like chudidaars and sarees,” she says.

Game:
“Badminton of course!” she dimples. She inherited her liking for Badminton from her dad Prakash and she grew up amidst raquets and shuttlecocks. She played inter-school matches with zest.

Style Quotient:
In spite of being a supermodel she won’t recommend any designer names, “It’s best not to follow trends. My SQ is to wear whatever I am comfy in. Currently I like to put on a pair of jeans with a kurti.”

Cosmetics:
The lass with eloquent eyes won’t ever leave home without her Maybelline mascara,” I endorse it and use it too,” she giggles.
