Jab We Met is the story of two individuals played by Shahid and Kareena. The story revolves around the journey of these two people. Shahid an industrialist, due to his failed love story refrains from going home and boards a train where he meets Kareena to his fortune or misfortune; Kareena Kapoor - a beautiful but annoyingly talkative girl who is leaving Mumbai to go her hometown - Bhatinda (Punjab) in order to elope with her boy friend. Inevitably, they end up missing the train and thus begins the exuberant journey to North India where this odd couple makes their way through different modes of transport to reach her house in Punjab.

How their separate journeys becomes one, forms the destination of Jab We Met, a beautiful and captivating saga of made-for-each-other love. Lilting, musical, amusing, and packed with mischievous contrivances
