IndiaFM brings you the exclusive look at White Feather Arthouse Film’s first venture, The Great Indian Butterfly. The film stars Aamir Bashir, Sandhya Mridul, Koel Purie and Barry John and is directed by Sarthak Dasgupta. The story of The Great Indian Butterfly revolves around a young urban couple takes a trip in search of a mystical butterfly, as they are unable to come to terms with the sacrifices required for success. It brings peace, love, luck and happiness, if found. The Great Indian Butterfly is a simple tale in the complex miasma of a changing India.

This is the first film coming out of White Feather Arthouse Film’s and it is already getting invited to some of the prestigious film festivals. Recently, The Great Indian Butterfly was invited at the Indo-America Arts Council Film Festival and it is now set to go to the River to River, Florence Indian Film Festival happening from December 7 to 13. The River to River, Florence Indian Film Festival, is the first festival in the world to devote entirely to films from and about India.

Speaking about this, producer Sanjay Gupta says, “The Great Indian Butterfly just selected for the IAAC Film festival and now being selected for the Florence Indian Film festival is another feather in our cap. Getting selected for these festivals has made the company very proud.”
