Two to Tango - Another 'Girlfriend' in the making

Three years ago, the much tabooed issue of lesbian-love was touched upon by one gutsy director Karan Razdan in Girlfriend. He brought together two sirens – Isha Kopikkar and Amrita Arora, to play lovers in his film. This year, another such duo will hit the silver screen in Rakesh Sawant’s thriller Jaanleva.
Nigar Khan (Tina) plays lady love to Meera Vasudevan (Nandi) in the film. As usual, Nigar Khan is seen sporting itsy-bitsy garb. She has teamed military print shorts with a rolled-up ganji, as if she needed to show more skin! The pose given by Nigar and Meera is strikingly reminiscent of the one given by Isha and Amrita. In one of the promotional photos for Girlfriend, Amrita and Isha are seen with the back facing the camera, with Isha unzipping Amirta’s red gown. While that particular photo looked more chic, Nigar and Meera’s make quite a sleazy pair, what with Nigar pulling down Meera’s pants!
Jaanleva, which was earlier titled Hello...Kaun Hai is in the post-production phase and will release soon this year.
