Ravi Chopra : we are talking about today’s people with today’s sensibility. when u c the film u will understand v r not talking about a family of the 70s or 80s, but a family of today and the problems are also of today

Ravi Chopra : i think for all of us whatever v do our family and the milieu in which v live effects the way we think and work

Ravi Chopra : not very fond of remaking because i think it shows a little bit of mental bankruptcy
asy : you brought back the hemalini and amitabh magic in baghban and now in baabul, it is great to see these couples on screen again !
Ravi Chopra : yes, they were great in baghban and they are also great in baabul
sm : Is Salman's role a small one again in Baabul as in Baghban...?
Ravi Chopra : no its a full length role and he is there literally from the first frame to the last

Ravi Chopra : no probs between john and salman during the shoots. v shot with them for quite a few days and v had no problems

yuvraj : when we have rich indian litre. then why film makers copy hollywood films
Ravi Chopra : the Indian literature is really coming of age as far as films is concerned because films are normally made from novels which are from the middle sectiojn, not from the upper or lower crust. the middle crust is in the process of getting developed only then will we be able to get more scripts from hindi literature

Ravi Chopra : i do not target niche audiences, i target every Indian

Ravi Chopra : he is my uncle and like an elder brother, we have no problems with each other emotionally. As and when v feel like making films together we will do so without any problems

Ravi Chopra : i saw something happen like this with a friend of my fathers. i was taken up by that incident so i started working on a script based on that
