After playing the role of Dr. J.Asthana in Munnabhai MBBS, there was no looking back for Boman Irani. And in the past few years of his presence in the film industry, Boman has portrayed a variety of roles be it comedy or serious. And well, there is lot more to come from the man yet. Boman Irani : always the first is special,but i truely believe that lucky is a more complex role

neha : poeple say that comedy is difficult and u seem to b a master of comedy hw do u managed to make poeple laugh? do u think its really difficult?
Boman Irani : u must never try to make ppl laugh...think with a smile in ur head and they will laugh

Boman Irani : neha i was a shop keeper and photography was my hobby. then a photographer wid acting as hobby, now an actor wid photgraphy as a hobby
Ritu : Hi Mr. Irani Just want to congratulate you on all your performances! It's difficult to decide which one I like best because they all are different and great. I am sure like Mr. Bachchan you bring in a time in Indian cinema where you don't have to 25 and with chocolate hero looks to get good roles. I am sure there are roles being written with you in mind.
Boman Irani : ritu, it makes being an actor fulfilling when ppl write wid u in mind, but it is the roles that r not suited for me that challenge me the most like khosla ka ghosla n lucky singh

Boman Irani : it was a great challenge but i had a blast doing it
| sneha : How often do you go shopping and if you do, do you enjoy it coz usually most men hate it but not everyone is the same.
Boman Irani : i hate it hate it hate it... i have pair of black shoes n one pair of brown shoes for the last two yrs. n im not a kanjoos either |
Salma : HOW MANY DAYS A MONTH DO U ACT?
Boman Irani : my wife says i act in my sleep as well but 12 days a month and thas too much

Boman Irani : i love paresh rawal and his work and i wont want him to run anywhere
Funny Boy : hey i must agree thou u had a slight negative side in LRM we all here jus loved u in it u can carry off such negative roles wit a humour side on it
Boman Irani : there is a serious man in a funny man and a funny man in a serious man, that makes a character more real

Ritu : How do you switch off and on when you are shooting for more than 1 film at a time since m ost characters you play are different. Is there a risk of being repetitive of certain gestures in such a case?
Boman Irani : i try to do one film at a time
shoaib : i heared somewhere that you where first hesitated for accepting the sardarji role for lage raho munnabhai is it right??? tell me frankly please
Boman Irani : i was afraid since im a bombay parsi and playing a sardar is a big ask but confidence comes only out of hard work not when u sign a film
neha : whats ur take on comedy shows that are becoming quite popular these days?
Boman Irani : as long as ppl r laughing im happy
sneha : Seriously, I wouldnt mind going on a date with a guy like you. Ur so simple and down to earth. Im really impressed.

Boman Irani : in my mind , yes
IMc : R u playing the same DCP role like Mr.Iftekhar or is it something different from the original flick?
Boman Irani : the role is the same, the portrayal has to be different

Boman Irani : i still dont think im famous

Boman Irani : no ritu, u prepare then present it to the director n the director chooses
