It was an honour for IndiaFM to have a seasoned senior actor like Anupam Kher coming for an online chat. The actor who was busy shooting in Goa for his international project Gandhi Park took out time on his short visit to Mumbai last night to come for the IndiaFM chat. He shared his views and ideas on the film industry. He spoke about his 7 best performances till date and about his movie Khosla Ka Ghosla. anupam kher : I am excited, happy at the release of KKG, i worked very hard and so as the rest of the team, its one of my 7 best performances of all time

anupam kher : Ad, its a job of an actor to be able to perform both comedy and tragedy with equal ease, it helps when you are a trained actor
pakia : what is your opinion about remakes? do u think remaking DON is a good idea?
anupam kher : i personally feel remaking old films is a result of bankruptcy of ideas, however people who are doin that must be having genuine reasons
Tara Sharma : no crowd pullers in Khosla K Ghosla what kind of opening r u expecting?
anupam kher : tara, in todays time evenso called big stars cant guarantee openings but a good film does have its audience these days
trnsmstr22 : when you acted in Main Gandhi ko Nahin Mara, How long did you have to reseach your role before doing it
anupam kher : 22, maine gandhi... was a very difficult role, memory loss has no physical aspects for acting, i did research for a couple of months
iloveanupam : Is it true that Deepika Padukone attended your acting school?
anupam kher : yes deepika did attend my school ACTOR PREPARES training, she is going 2 be a great name in the acting school
saher : 1 IMPORTANT QUESTION SIR... WOULD YOU RECOMMEND A YOUNG GIRL TO GO INTO BOLLYWOOD WITH NO FILM BACKGROUND
anupam kher : saher, everygirl who wants t act should first take a training that itself becomes a background

anupam kher : steve, I am in my acting school
Tara Sharma : did u like my performance when i was directed by u in om jai jagdish and when i was alongside u in khosla ka ghosla?

anupam kher : sunil, my restriction is my search for interesting roles, I have done 322 films, only when a role excites me I pick it up
Tara Sharma : initially u saw a lot of struggle in ur younger days. did u ever feel that acting wasnt ur forte?
anupam kher : tara, acting was my only passion, thats why i did 3 years course from national school of drama
AD : sir r u directing any movie ....right now?
anupam kher : I am in the process of finalising the details of my next film, i have written the script, its tentatively called happy and gay

anupam kher : my role in jaanemann of a dwarf is one of the most challenging things that I have done
KHURANA : r u typing or is someone else?
anupam kher : khurana, no I cant type so fast, my friend chintan is typing on my behalf
KHURANA : is there any gay stuff in the film 'Happy and Gay'.
anupam kher : wait and watch for happy and gay

KHURANA : how did u manage to do the role of a dwarf. tachinal effects or were ur legs folded?
anupam kher : I had to be on my knees for 40 shootings days , the most painful thing in the world
