The world knows who Bipasha Basu is. But does the world know who Needhi Gill is? Look at the picture above and see the similarities. Yes, both these women are different. The one to the left is Needhi Gill who stars in the film Bipasha – The Black Beauty.
Bipasha seems to be quite miffed by this movie title. The movie title and tagline clearly seems to be targeted at her. Bips recently even commented that the film Bipasha – The Black Beauty is a C-grade film with a C-grade actress in it.
Taking this as an ideal opportunity to gain publicity, Needhi Gill has sent a legal notice to Bipasha Basu for allegedly making offensive comments on her as well as the film. Isn’t this a case of ‘Ulta chor kotwal ko daate? ’ Now everyone from the leading lady to the director and producer cite that the film is not based on Bipasha Basu.
Needhi clarifies that the film is not connected to Bipasha’s real life. It is a story about a girl named Bipasha who wants to become an actress. Needhi says that such comments from Bipasha Basu could harm her career. Needhi wanted Bipasha to apologize in front of media for her comments. Obviously Bipasha did nothing of that sort.
Unnecessary hype or capitalizing on a star’s popularity – this ‘Black Beauty’ is in the public eye.
