Photo Feature: Yana can’t ‘bear’ item numbers

And the celebrities continue to raise their voices against injustice done to animals. Item Girl Yana Gupta is the celebrity supporter for the latest PETA ad. The message of this ad is to stop the harm being done to bears who are used to entertain people on streets. The bears are in pain yet they are forced to perform.
Lensman Atul Kasbekar who shot the ad said that Yana Gupta is an ideal choice for the PETA ad as she is kind to animals and follows what she preaches. The picture above looks very interesting as it shows Bollywood item girl saying that ‘Bears are not item numbers’, which is obviously referring to the fact that bears are used as entertainment objects on streets to earn money. The interesting part however is that the bear used for the shoot isn’t real. It is just a fake replica of a bear.
The ad is for a good cause and with a hottie like Yana appealing to people, the message surely will get across.
