Photofeature: Sunny and Viveik on an adventure ride

After some lousy films, our action king Sunny Deol will get back to form in his upcoming film Naksha. Naksha meaning ‘map’ is an adventure film. Giving Sunny company in this adventure trip are Viveik Oberoi and Sameera Reddy. Jackie Shroff also has an interesting role in the film where he plays an archeologist.
Detailing more on the film, producer Akshay Bajaj says, “Naksha is a pure adventure film and an all out entertainer with elements of thrill, action, humor, emotion and great music. The movie is a complete joyride on the adventurous journey that the protagonists of our film (Sunny, Vivek, Sameera) embark upon. The film also has a touch of mythology that runs in background in the flashback portions."
Naksha is directed by debutante Sachin Bajaj who has earlier assisted Indra Kumar in Mann and Aashiq and south director Shankar on Jeans. The film also introduces a new girl Mridula Chandrashekhar.
The film has almost reached its completion. Only last 8 days of shoot are remaining for which the unit is heading towards New Zealand. Apart from that the film is shot in Mumbai, Manali and Bangkok. The audience can expect some daredevil stunts from Allan Amin (of Dhoom fame). Pritam handles the music.
“We are planning for a July release”, adds Akshay Bajaj and when we prod him more on the storyline, he explains. “Naksha is a story about two protagonists who are in search of something. A map they chance upon leads them through various adventures and obstacles on their journey in search of this certain thing. What it is that they are in search of and what the obstacles and adventures along the way are, is something that you will have to watch the film to find out.”
