For all his brawn, Salman Khan has the reputation of quite a softie amongst the ladies. Mention his name and Kareena Kapoor gets all mushy and weak in the knees!
The first time Kareena acted with Salman, it was in Priyadarshan’s Kyon Ki. Luckily enough for Shahid, Salman didn’t have any bare-chested scenes in the film. However, that didn’t change the fact that Kareena thinks he’s the sexiest bare-chested man in the world! In fact, while she was shooting for the film, she would keep pulling Shahid’s leg that he’s lucky that Salman didn’t take his shirt off. Although, Shahid must be breathing a sigh of relief right now, he can’t be too sure about the future. For all you know, in his next film with Kareena, Salman just might reveal that hot bod!
Kareena’s affection for Salman Khan goes back a long way. Like many girls her age she went ga-ga over the boyish Salman of Maine Pyar Kiya. Kareena was just eight when the movie released. She liked him so much that there was a Maine Pyar Kiya poster in her bathroom! And she wanted the ‘Friends Forever’ cap that Salman wore in the film, which went on to become quite a rage.
Salman and Kareena’s older sister, Karisma have been good friends since years. The duo worked together in many films in the early nineties. That’s why till date, Kareena is still a little girl in Salman’s eyes. So much so that even while they were shooting for Kyon Ki, Kareena was convinced that he felt awkward romancing her! But none of the awkwardness showed on screen! Though she doesn’t have a crush on him, Kareena really respects him for always being there for Karisma in her times of need.
So Salman sure has a loyal fan in Kareena Kapoor. To the extent that she declares that Salman Khan is an absolute doll. Watch out Shahid! You have some real tough competition lined up for you!
