Photo Feature: What’s in a number?

Every year crores and crores of rupees are pumped into Bollywood. It is no wonder then that producers and financers are so superstitious about everything that they do. And when it comes to superstitions, our stars are not far behind.
Numerological name changes, lucky charms and lucky numbers are the works. And most actors, big or small have some lucky mascot or the other. When it comes to their cars, our celebs are extremely finicky about the number plates. They would go to great lengths to ensure that they get the ‘lucky number.’ And the RTO is having a field day in the process, with the stars being ready to shell out any amount for the customized license plates!
We came across some interesting pictures recently that just proved our point.

It looks like Sanjay Dutt has a fixation for the number 4545. All his cars, be it his Honda Accord, Mercedes or his Ferrari, sport the same number. And with the actor being embroiled in controversy after controversy, we’re guessing he needs all the luck that he can get!
Ash not far behind…
Aishwarya Rai on the other hand seems to have settled with the number 500 as her lucky one. Both her cars bear the number 500 on their number plates. Looks like her lucky number definitely clicked!
