Ayesha Takia’s contract with the producers

Ever since she arrived in Bollywood, Ayesha Takia has been practically screaming from the rooftops that she will never do dare-bare scenes. And we actually haven’t seen her expose that much! Save for a few scenes in her first music video and films like Taarzan-The Wonder Car and Shaadi No.1… (ahem)
But it is difficult to find any pictures of her in a bikini or even with cleavage shots. Ayesha Takia clearly means business when she says that she will not expose. And now it’s official. In a first move of its kind, she has gone ahead and drawn a contract which states that she will not do indecent scenes. Indecent covers everything from lovemaking scenes to wearing bikinis to doing kissing scenes! She ensures that the producer signs the contract before she signs his! How planned is that?
But she certainly has guts. She is one of the few actresses who refused a film from the Yash Raj Banner! Everyone probably already knows by now that the role of Nikki Bakshi in Neal N Nikki was first offered to her. However, she politely declined since she wasn’t comfortable with the bold scenes in the film. And as she justifies, her discomfort would have shown onscreen!
For Ayesha, family comes first. And she only wants to do films that she can watch with them, without embarrassing them. And at a later stage, when she has children of her own, she doesn’t want them to question her! That’s certainly thinking ahead! Her contract ensures that there are no hassles whilst the shooting is in progress. In the big bad world of Bollywood, one has to do a lot just to get noticed! But Ayesha will not blindly conform to them! She’s one girl who has her head firmly on her shoulders!
