Karisma's life is the way you choose to look at it.
Karisma Kapoor is in news for her fallout with Delhi based industrialist Sanjay Kapur. Most believe that Sanjay was her rebound guy and that probably explains why the marriage didn't work out. Sanjay finds his name in the speculation circle as many seem to blame his philandering ways responsible for Karisma calling off the marriage. Apparently, his liaison with Nandita Mahtani re-erected post marriage.
But the blue-eyed actress has shut the door to the past. Karisma recently inaugurated a pediatric centre. Her commercial for Eros jewelery is making rounds on television. If that isn't a good start, Karisma has a release this Friday, Mere Jeevan Saathi, where she co-stars with her favorite actor, Akshay Kumar.
“Yes it's unfortunate that the film has been long in making. But I have maintained a fresh look. The portions that wore a jaded look have been re-shot” director Suneel Darshan assures us. “Besides, if I have a good story to tell, that wouldn't change even if I freeze it for another 5 years, right?” he asks. “Mere Jeevan Saathi is a must watch for those who love great music. And watch out for Karisma's performance. She is brilliant in the film!” the maker praises his muse.
Karisma on her part is very excited about the film too, “I am playing a grey character in the film. Suneel has offered me an author-backed role. I have always tried to portray strong characters in my career. But the fact that the role has negative streaks in her makes her very real, just like my character of Fiza and Zubeida” But she had rough weather with Amisha, we are told. “Nothing of that sort, I don't know Amisha well. I have been a professional all my life, it was the same with Amisha. I was cordial to her” she puts the topic to rest.
And how does she plan to steer her life from here? This is one question that draws air bubbles from her. “I don't want to talk about it now” Karisma declares.
