The petite actor has never had it so good; after bagging some interesting roles (you will see her in Naseeruddin Shah's directorial debut. Yes the girl is going big!) Ayesha is currently shooting for David Dhawan's, Shaadi No.1 where she groups with Esha Deol, Fardeen Khan, Zayed Khan Soha Ali and Sharman Joshi. We caught her on the sets of her film and Ayesha is just back after wrapping a three day sequence. “Ma, it's done!” he gives off a sigh of relief, as she enters her trailer van. “Ayesha was having a tough time with the climax,” her mom Farida informs us.
Dabbing her face Ayesha sips on some coconut water, “Arey, it isn't as tough as mama makes it out to be” she waves away the remark. “That's a smart way to hush it up, now that it's over,” her mom teases. “Its nothing” she assures us. “This is the climax shot and it required us to walk on a pole 20 feet high suspended on harnesses. I am freaky about heights. What do your call that?” 'Acrophobia' we help her. “That's right, I am acrophobic! So when my shot had to be canned I was a wreck. Since the word passed around, my co-stars made it more obvious and Zayed who is by the way a big badmash did all sorts of things to freak me out. So on the day of the shoot, I was all the more nervous and kept falling off!” she tells us mildly.
“When I goofed up, they would come sit beside me and give me tips on how I should balance my body weight so that I get it right. After that little pep talk, I thought I will get my act right. So the shot is now ready and I am about to start. But the pests that that they are, the guys began to laugh! That was it; I wobbled a bit and David called for a retake. I had half a mind to kill them!” Ayesha smiles.
