“Heroes mess up shoots!”- Amisha Patel

While most Bollywood buffs are wondering why Amisha Patel was replaced with Ayesha Takia in Shaadi No.1, we have got you the answer. “To begin with I wasn't anywhere close to excited about my role in the film” Amisha shoots. “I did it because Vashuji and David requested me. So contrary to what people might think, I am not shedding tears at the loss of a Mother India” she says curtly. Her voice has a sting of sarcasm that is unfamiliar to Amisha Patel.
But what really went wrong, we ask. “Fardeen and Zayed were going for some shows and their dates had to be readjusted. Now since this disturbed the original schedule my dates got messed, I couldn't work around the fresh dates that had been allotted. By the time I could get back to them, the makers had gone ahead and signed in a new girl. I thought it was thoroughly unprofessional of David and others to put me in a loop and get moving with the film when it is at their behest that I did the film in the first film” she fumes. “I can for once forgive them, because the director has to be selfish for his film and keep the shoot on. But what irks me is that heroes can fowl a shoot and get away with it. The boys still call the shots, I guess” Amisha says with a fallen face.
