Instead of 'Find Mr. Right' someone
whispered into my ears M r.Right now!
…this more or less sums up Amrita's love funda. Her sister Malaika puts it best when she says, “The last time Ammu fell in love, it was a long relationship, it lasted an entire day!” We are in conversation with the hottie best known for her butterfly relationships. What is it that she keeps flitting from one relationship to another? “See, I get into a relation hoping that it will work out, but unfortunately it doesn't” she says bringing a childlike expression to her face. But that doesn't prevent into hopping onto the next guy, does it. “Not really, I don't give up that easy” she winks.
“Britney once said, 'You need to kiss many a frogs to find your prince, same is with me!” she smiles wicked. So she is yet to find her prince? “Nah, Usman is the frog turned prince” she laughs. And what about her previous guys, starting with Fardeen with whom she was rumored to have this huge affair during the shoot of Kitne Door Kitne Pass? “If people want to know my side of the story, here it is, I am buddy-buddy with all my co-stars. If I want to meet with my co-actor I just barge into his van or call him, I don't make an issue out of it. Guess my upfront attitude didn't suit Bollywood. And so they thought they we were an item” she gets livid.
The next in line was Ashmit Patel, “Well, not much to talk about there” she quips. Malaika didn't approve of him, right? “Yeah” she laughs. Malla didn't think he was right for me. Then comes along Upen Patel, “Yes and I thought I had found Yash Raj kind of forever love. It lasted a whole year!” she takes a dig at herself.
And now it is the turn of the prince, Usman Afzaal. “Hey, I think Usman is so much like Arbaaz bhai. He is a very confident and spirited guy and lets me be myself. And I love him for that. He is all of 27 yet behaves like a man. And most importantly, he makes me feel like a woman” Amrita gushes. We observe that when it comes to the Brit cricketer, she is quite a mouthful.
Now that we have come to the tail hunt of her boyfriend list, how does she react when co-actors snigger at her 'It's raining men' ways? “Ah, it does nothing to me. Good girls go to heaven, bad girls go everywhere!” Ammu signs off with a stab.
