He is cute, cuddly & charming
But girls, its time to wake up to the stud in him
Apparently, the hunk has packed in some kickass action in Gumnaam
“Yes, I play a stuntman in Gumnaam.” So, no body doubles on the scene, huh? “No. I have always wanted to experience the adrenaline rush that you feel when you jump off 100 feet or drive motorbikes at heart-stopping speed. So when the chance came by, I wasn't going to miss it for the world” he smiles. So how did he enjoy doing the stunts? “Initially it was all very exciting and no fear. But as I got to doing it, man…did I get the chills or what!”
“I remember, it was an outdoor shoot and what was amusing was that no one mentioned anything about it. So I was pretty easy about the whole thing until the night when we were wrapping up. That's when the action director comes to me & says that they have this action sequence lined up tomorrow and I have to be at the location at 7 in the morning. Not even then do they give me a clue as to what is in store the next morning…”
“When I arrived at the scene, Neeraj (Pathak) comes to me and asks, How are you this morning?' “Very well, why do you ask?” I reply. “Good, then get ready, because we are going to suspend you from 200 feet” he says coolly. “What!” I exclaim, by then he had already left. Suddenly all heroism went cold, my knees were rattling!” he laughs.
“Try as much I may, Neeraj won't push it to another day. In no time they were ready to roll. Sensing there is no way out, I got into the action gear & prayed to all the gods I knew.” Dino guffaws. “Around two hours into rehearsals and my body was slowly warming to the pull, push & strain that the action was causing. And finally at 1 noon, I got it right. We were on and there I was suspended on cable wires from a height of 150-200 feet!”
“Everytime my director says 'action!' I now feel a bit uneasy…”
