Jawani Diwani: Promo Watch

The trailer of Jawani Diwani opens on a funky note introducing the male lead with the ironic tagline 'some guys just don't need an introduction'. It's Emraan Hashmi who is introduced as the 'serial kisser'. The tag perfectly goes in sync with Emraan whether you consider his character in this film or the common characteristic element he has exuded in all his films so far, of smooching the females from Murder (Mallika Sherawat), Tumsa Nahin Dekha (Dia Mirza), Zeher (Udita Goswami), Aashiq Banaya Aapne and Chocolate (Tanushree Dutta).

Amidst beaches, bikes, babes and bikinis opens the peppy title song composed by Sajid-Wajid. Following the current trend, this song too has some English lyrics and racy rapping, promising to be the flavor of the season. Celina Jaitley, too, maintains her track record of seductively emerging from the sea (after doing the Ursula Andress act in Janasheen and No Entry earlier). But the repeated sea scenes cannot dilute Celina's sex-appeal.

Jawani Diwani is a love triangle but with a nice comic angle to it. Hrishitaa Bhatt forms the third angle of this triangle. Set in the beautiful locales of Mauritius, this movie promises to make you laugh, cry, work on your relationship or destroy it completely. Produced by NR Pachisia, the film is directed by debutante Manish Gupta and is slated for a December release.
